The Kong Story: Where Our Craft Began.

Kong started with two friends, a single press, and the belief that good design deserved better printing. Late nights in an airplane hangar turned into early partnerships built on craft, care, and collaboration. Fifteen years later, that same spirit still drives us. We’ve grown into a creative studio of printers, designers, and problem-solvers who care about every detail, from the first proof to the final print.

For us, printing and embroidery aren’t just production. They’re storytelling you can touch — the feel of quality, the look of intention, the kind of merch people actually want to wear.

Ryan and Bruce started Kong with a simple idea: make great merch for great people. What began with a small one color press in an Austin hangar has grown into a creative studio built on craftsmanship and care. Today, they lead with the same hands-on energy and attention to detail that defined Kong from the start.
